If you can't bear the thought of life without a four-legged companion, but find yourself struggling to meet their daily exercise needs, then let Listen Dog Training take the hassle out of dog -ownership, with a range of dog-walking and pet-visiting services!
Maybe you work long hours, or you face mobility issues - or perhaps family life just gets too hectic to fit it all in sometimes! Whatever the reason, failing to walk your dog on a daily basis can lead to all manner of behaviour issues, from hyperactivity to destructive chewing, incessant barking, and more.
So whether you're looking for a dog walker to provide one-off cover or a more long-term solution, we can step in and ensure your best friend gets their daily dose of fun and activity in one of a selection of dog-friendly walking locations across Peterborough.
My regular dogs absolutely adore having the opportunity to run, play and socialise, with the added bonus of plenty of cuddles and fuss on top!
For your complete peace of mind, I am a fully insured and CRB-checked dog walker, and hold a number of canine behaviour qualifications (find out more about my qualifications here) that ensure I'm well-equiped to take care of your dog and provide him with all the physical and mental stimulation he needs in your absence, to ensure you return home to a happy and contented hound!

As a qualified trainer, I have a wealth of experience working with a variety of dogs, including everything from hyperactive, reactive and nervous canines, to those that have long-term mobility issues including osteoarthritis, luxating patellas and hip dysplasia. As an experienced dog walker, I understand that dogs' needs must be assessed and met on an individual basis, and that any form of daily exercise which suits one dog, may not be appropriate for another!
Walks are the highlight of your dog's day so, just like our training, we keep walks ALL POSITIVE! A well-prepared dog walker never walks without a handy hip-bag full of healthy treats, ready to reward good behaviours... and I do my best to incorporate adventure and play in a variety of dog-friendly walking locations.
I understand that your dog is unique, so we'll always begin with a no-obligation introductory meeting, so you can tell me exactly what your dog loves.
As a dog-owner myself, I fully appreciate how much you love to know what your canine companion is getting up to during the day, so I share photo and text updates via What's App or the Listen Dog Training Facebook page (with owner's permission) on how much fun your dog is having.
Our dog-walking service is as flexible as you want it to be; you can book a one-off dog walk or home visit if you have a special day out planned and can't find a dogsitter, or you can set up a regular weekly arrangement that suits your schedule.
For very young puppies, dogs under quarantine, recovering from injury or surgery, or suffering from mobility issues, we also offer home visits as an alternative to walks, to break up your pet's day and provide play and toileting breaks in your absence.
I understand how tiresome it can be owning a mud-loving dog and keeping your house clean and tidy! My vehicle is well stocked with dog wipes, water and towels, so that I can do my utmost to deliver Fido home in a clean and acceptable state that won't ruin your carpets!
I work in accordance with the Animal Welfare Act of 2006 and the Data Protecton Act of 1988. All your pet's needs for comfort and wellbeing will be met whilst under my care, and any information you provide me with that I am required to keep for legal and taxation purposes will be stored securely at my home premises on a password protected computer.
